John has moved to Seoul, Korea in January, 2007.
John was appointed as the Professor of Jazz and Composition Department at Mokwon University in Dae-Jeon, Korea. He has
also been gigging in several Seoul jazz venues (Once in a Blue Moon, All that jazz, Club Evans, Chunnyun Jazz Club, etc) with
many of Korea’s leading jazz artists including Kenji Omae, Chris Varga, Jong-Dae Oh, Sung-Cho Chung, Chang-Hyun Kim,
Soon-Yong Lee and many more. He is looking forward to making more connections in the Seoul jazz scene.

John’s New Album “No Regrets” featuring Jeremy Kittel on Violin, Andrew Kratzat on Bass, Chad Hochberg on Drums, Jesse Palter on Vocals and
Special Guest Drummer Ari Hoenig was released on April 19, 2007 through Korea’s leading music management company Stomp Music and will be
distributed by EMI Korea. http://stompmusic.com This CD features John’s eight original compositions as well as four of John’s arrangements of jazz
standards. To celebrate the release, John will be hosting a CD Release Concert at Chongdong Theatre in Seoul, Korea on Saturday, June 2nd at 3 pm. The
concert will feature John on Piano, Jeremy Kittel on Violin, Andrew Kratzat on Bass, Chad Hochberg on Drums

The John Nam Quartet celebrates its third tour in Korea from May 22th to June 2nd in 2007. The quartet will have several performances in Korea,
